Sinn Féin’s Philip McGuigan officially nominated to contest election.

Speaking after handing in his nomination papers to contest the Assembly election Philip McGuigan said:

“This election is vitally important in that it allows people to have their say on the RHI scandal, equality issues, respect, proper partnership and good government.

“Now that I am officially nominated I can get on with the work of getting a mandate for all these important issues.

“I know that some political party’s are trying to turn this into a green versus orange election. That isn’t the case. It’s about right and wrong. It’s about implementing previous agreements and moving forward on a sustainable basis for the benefit of all citizens living in the North”
